Shipping & Returns
After your payment is verified we will process and ship your order. Orders placed on business days before 17:00 Sydney Time will be shipped out the same day, otherwise the next business day. Please note that engraved products need extra 3 business day for processing, after which they will be shipped.
How much does shipping cost?
We have a free worldwide shipping* option: DHL Global Mail (National Post Delivery) and Australia Post International Shipping.
DHL Global Mail and AuPost handles the shipping process until the parcel reaches the country of destination. After that, the parcel will be handed over to your local post services to deliver it to your address.
DHL Express (extra fast) & AuPost shipping is available for selected countries. Costs of this service vary between AUD $20 - AUD $25 for most countries.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on your location, shipping method, customs processing, and local postal conditions.

DHL Express (Fast Shipping)
DHL Express is our fastest international shipping option. Exact delivery timeframes are calculated at checkout/provided after dispatch by DHL, based on destination, parcel size, and customs clearance.
Please note: All delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs, public holidays, peak periods, or carrier delays.
Do I Receive a Tracking Number?
All Sakawood orders include online tracking, which will be sent to your email once dispatched.
Tracking allows you to:
- Monitor delivery progress
- Estimate arrival time
- Contact the carrier if needed
International Shipping, Duties & Taxes
- Australia: No customs or import duties

Duties and taxes are not included and may be charged by your local customs authority upon arrival
We recommend contacting your local customs office for country-specific information.
What Is Sakawood Shipping Protection?
Shipping Protection provides peace of mind in the rare event of a lost shipment.
With Shipping Protection:
- Faster resolution for confirmed lost packages
- Choose between replacement or refund\
- No need to wait for lengthy courier investigations
Please note:
- Applies only to packages confirmed as lost
- If tracking shows “delivered”, further investigation may be required
Exchanges & Returns
We hope you love your Sakawood piece. If not, we offer returns under the following conditions:
- Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery
- Item must be unused, in original condition & packaging
- Any free gifts must be returned
- Customer covers return shipping costs
- Engraved items follow a different policy (see below)
How Do I Return My Order?
At this stage, Sakawood returns are handled via email.
Please include:
- Order number
- Email used for purchase
- Product name
- Reason for return
Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions.
Refunds are processed within 10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
Engraved & Custom Products (Restocking Fee)
Engraved items require additional craftsmanship and preparation.
- Engraved products are not refundable
- If accepted for return, a restocking fee equal to the engraving cost applies
- Fee will be deducted from the refundable amount

Warranty Policy
Every Sakawood product is crafted with care and quality materials.
Warranty Coverage
- 2-year warranty from the date of delivery
- Covers manufacturing defects under normal use
- Does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper care
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Please contact our support team with:
- Order number
- Clear photos or videos of the issue
- Short explanation of the defect
If approved:
- Product may be repaired or replaced
- If the model is unavailable, you may choose:
- An alternative model
- Store credit (valid during remaining warranty period)
We cover shipping costs for approved warranty replacements.
